An unforgettable musical holiday, in the heart of the Urbino Early Music Festival

A course for young musicians, created to provide an opportunity to improve their instrument, making music together and playing in the orchestra next to young boys and girls coming from all over the world. All united by their passion for music and the desire to make new friends. The course is included in the magical setting of the Urbino Early Music Festival.

The course is open to students of all levels, even beginners.

The course consists of:

  • individual classes
  • ensemble music (for beginners and advanced)
  • orchestra (for beginners and advanced)
  • folk dances (for kids)

The program will focus on the repertoire from the renaissance to the classical period, giving special attention to the baroque.
Furthermore, the younger students will be welcome in the folk dance course of the International Early Music Course.
At the end of the course (28th evening, 29th morning) two final concerts are scheduled, for small groups and orchestra.

Guests will be admitted in the afternoon folk dances classes (by paying € 20 for registration and insurance) and will have a reduction on the tickets at the Early Music Festival.

Program

  • starting: 23rd July at 3.00pm
  • ending: 29th July at 1.00pm
  • class schedule: 9.00pm-1.00am; 3.00pm-6.30pm

The actual schedule of all activities will be arranged by the teachers during the course.

The kids have to be entrusted to an adult during the entire duration of the course. Carers who request it will benefit from the reduced rate to attend the concerts of the Early Music Festival.
